George Slater (1864 – unknown) was an English footballer who played in the Football League for Stoke.[1]
Career
Slater played for Hanley United before joining Stoke in 1888.[1] He played twice for the "Potters" scoring once against Bolton Wanderers.[1] He left Stoke in October 1888 when he decided to emigrate to the United States where he lived out the rest of his life.[1]
