George Thorpe (cricketer, born 1834)

George Thorpe (20 February 1834 – 2 March 1899) was an English first-class cricketer, who played two first-class matches, one for Yorkshire County Cricket Club against Surrey in 1864, and another for the All England XI in 1862.[1]
Born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Thorpe was a right-handed batsman, who scored 19 runs at 6.33, with a best of 9 not out against Surrey. He took three catches in the field, but did not bowl.[1]
Thorpe died in March 1899 in Sheffield, aged 65.
