George Whitton Johnstone
George Whitton Johnstone RSA RSW (1849-22 February 1901) was a 19th-century Scottish artist.
Life
He was born in Glamis in May 1849.
He was a full member of the Royal Scottish Academy and Royal Society of Watercolourists
He died in Edinburgh and was buried in Morningside Cemetery, Edinburgh. The distinctive grave holds a high relief sculpture of his head and lies in the westmost section of the cemetery.
