Georgina Burnett is an Australian-born British television presenter, producer, and life coach. Currently, she freelances as a weather presenter and news reporter for BBC London News, BBC South East Today, BBC Look East, and BBC South Today, also presents the weather for a number of BBC regional radio stations.
Burnett was featured as an expert in Channel 5's '50 Shocking Facts About Diet and Exercise' in 2013.
Burnett has presented for IMG at the Evian Masters for the last 3 years. Previously, she was the anchor for the golf show The Back 9 on Eurosport online, and was the anchor for England Hockey TV. Burnett has presented on Healthzone TV, NHS 24/7 TV, and ITN On. She has also presented on Sky News International, CNBC, and BBC World News. Burnett started her career behind the camera on the football programme The Goal Rush.
Burnett is also a freelance writer, including for Elle, Marie Claire, Women's Fitness, Slim at Home, and Cosmopolitan, and is on the expert panel for Women's Running magazine.[1][2]
Burnett played a reporter called Ruby Murray in the award-winning film Cash and Curry.
