Gerald Eustis Thomas (born 1929), is an American diplomat, Naval Officer. who served as the United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Guyana in 1981 and Kenya in 1983.
Thomas is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity[1] Thomas was also the second Black Man appointed to the rank of Rear Admiral in the United States Navy on November 30, 1974.
