Geranium lucidum, commonly known as shining cranesbill[1] or (in North America) shining geranium, is a herbaceous annual plant of the genus Geranium.
Description
An annual plant with stems up to 35 cm long and red. Leaves lobed or divided bluntly. Flowers 10 mm across with bright pink petals born in twos in May to August[2]with sharply keeled sepals. Hairs very small.[3]
Distribution
Common in Great Britain and Ireland.[4]
Habitat
Common on acid soils
