Ghukasyan (Armenian: Ղուկասյան) Armenian pronunciation: [ʁɔvkɑˈsjɑn] Russian pronunciation: [ɡʊkɐˈsʲan]) is an Armenian surname, meaning 'son of Ghukas', the Armenian equivalent of Luke. In Russia, Azerbaijan and other countries some holders of this surname changed to Gukasov (Russian: Гука́сов).
