Giaura punctata is a moth in the Nolidae family. It was described by Lucas in 1890. It is found on the Bismarck Islands and in New Guinea[1] and Australia (Northern Territory and Queensland).
The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are grey with black spots. The hindwings are white shading to brown at the edges.[2]
