Gilbert Robinson was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, playing at representative level for Great Britain (non-Test matches), and at club level for Wakefield Trinity, and Castleford, as a centre, i.e. number 3 or 4.[1]

Gilbert Robinson was selected for Great Britain while at Wakefield Trinity for the 1932 Great Britain Lions tour of Australia and New Zealand.

County Cup final appearances

Gilbert Robinson played fullback in Wakefield Trinity's 0-8 defeat by Leeds in the 1932 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1932–33 season at Fartown Ground, Huddersfield on Saturday 19 November 1932
