Giovanni Ciccotti

Giovanni Ciccotti (born 1943, in Rome Italy) is an Italian physicist.[1]

Ciccotti holds the position of Professor of the Structure of Matter at the University of Rome La Sapienza. He's the author of more than a hundred articles on molecular dynamics and statistical mechanics. He worked with J.P. Ryckaert on new methods for molecular dynamics on constrained systems.[2] See also SHAKE algorithm.

He has edited several books on molecular dynamics and statistical mechanics developments, including:
