"Give Up the Goods (Just Step)" is the fourth and final single off Mobb Deep's sophomore classic album The Infamous. The song features frequent Mobb Deep collaborator and close associate Big Noyd.
Background
The song's main theme is about a stick up artist. Although it was not Big Noyd's first guest appearance for the duo (the first appearance being "Stomp em out" off Juvenile Hell, it garnered him wider attention. He started the second verse with the line: "Yo, it's the r-a-double-p-e-r n-o-y-d, n****s can't fuck with me!" He has later stated that he received his first contract, for $300,000, because of that verse.
Music video
Much like their later hit "Burn" (which also featured Noyd), the music video is in black and white.
