Corporate affairs

The company planned to move into the Comerica Bank Tower in Downtown Dallas on January 2, 2008. It was scheduled to take four floors,[4] with a total of 130,000 square feet (12,000 m2) of space.[5] 340 employees were scheduled to move there.[4] The space TM moved into was previously occupied by TXU Energy.[5]

From its 1934 founding, for a 25-year period it was headquartered in the 1309 Main St. building in Downtown Dallas. That facility later became the Davis Building apartment tower. The company moved out of 1309 Main and then moved two more times, with each new location being in Downtown Dallas. In 1979 the company moved to the 201 E. John Carpenter Fwy. building in Las Colinas, Irving. On January 2, 2000 the company moved to the 6555 Sierra Drive building in Las Colinas.[6] There, the offices were in 247,000 square feet (22,900 m2) of space. For a two-year period before December 2007 TM had attempted to sublease the space. As part of the deal, TXU swapped offices with TM Advertising and began occupying all of the space the Las Colinas offices.[5]
