Gnathotona thermopsamma is a moth in the Depressariidae family, and the only species in the genus Gnathotona. It was described by Meyrick in 1931 and is found in Paraguay.[1]
The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are ferruginous-ochreous with the dorsal area suffused whitish-ochreous, with a few scattered blackish specks. The hindwings are whitish.[2]
