The common bully (Gobiomorphus cotidianus) is a species of sleeper goby endemic to New Zealand. Being amphidromous, it can be found in marine, fresh, and brackish waters. This species can reach a length of 15 cm (5.9 in).[1]
It feeds on aquatic invertebrates, but relies more heavily on fish eggs and chironomid midge larvae than other fishes.[2]
