Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology – popularly known as GIET, a flagship institution of Chaitanya Educational Group – is located at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. At the undergraduate (B Tech) level, GIET offers the courses of Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Mining Engineering.
At the post-graduate (M Tech) level, the College offers Computer Science & Engineering, Software Engineering, CAD/DAM, Power Systems (High-Voltage), Digital Electronics & Communication Systems, VLSI and Embedded Systems and Structural Engineering.
As regards credentials, GIET is an NBA accredited institution with NAAC ‘A’ grade (with CGPA of 3.31 on a scale of 4), and permanent affiliation to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK). The college is approved by UGC. GIET’s educational priority is to provide students with an engaging, interactive and holistic learning environment.
