Golaidanga High School

Golaidanga High School is located in Golaidanga village at Balodhara Union under Singair Upazila in Manikgonj District, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1967[1] by local scholar Md. Mohar Ali, who retired in 2005.

Golaidanga is a historic place. But Golaidanga village are separate of two part One part of South Golaidanga & another part of North Golaidanga and well known for the liberation war took place on the North Golaidanga Nurani-ganga river in 1971 between Mukti Bahini (Bangladesh Freedom Fighter's) and Pakistani military. Approximate 50 Pakistani Military has died in this Fight. 11 no of local Civilian people has died of this freedom fight. Md. Showdagar Matabbar was One person's of 11 no's Shahid of the freedom Fight. He was Son of Md.Dabur Uddin Matabber & The Father's of Md.Abdul Gafor.
