Ark Boulton Academy (formerly Golden Hillock School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Sparkhill in the centre of Birmingham, England.[1] It was established in 1910 and educates just under 900 pupils. In September 2015 the school will joined the Ark network of schools at which point it was renamed.[2] The head teacher since September 2015 is H Chana.

In 2014, the school was under investigation for promoting radical Islamic view to pupils: see Operation Trojan Horse.[3]

The school has a higher than average number of pupils eligible for free school meals and has a high proportion of ethnic minority pupils.[1] Ofsted reported in 2011 that "almost all of the school population come from minority ethnic backgrounds including Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Yemeni and Somali including couple of indian heritages and most speak English as an additional language."[1] The school, which is described as "fully accessible"[1] also has a higher than average number of pupils with educational needs or disabilities and has local authority managed provision for ten pupils with physical disabilities.[1]

The school became a specialist sports college in 2000. [1] On 1st October 2013 the school became an academy sponsored by Park View Educational Trust.
