The Golla-Gollewar Caste Community is Generation of Yaduvanshi(Yadavas).

Golla-Gollewar caste is a cattle-rearing caste in Andhra Pradesh,karnataka and Maharashtra who like the Kuruba, Kuruva and Kuruma, are predominantly sheep, goat and cattle herders. Alternate spellings include Gwals, Gaur, Gaura, Gowda or Gowda Golla. Caste politics include the counting of Gollas as Ahirs.[1][2] Like many other cattle-herding castes of India, the Gollas claim descent from Yadu. In Maharashtra Golla caste has been also called as Gollewar/Golkar/Goller. One of the prominent Castes in Marathwada region of Maharashtra State In India. Most equated in Nanded District.

The Kakatiya (Yadav) dynasty, constructed the Gollakonda Fort. Its one of the best Fort & ancient city in India. The name Gollakonda is derived from Telgu words Golla (Gwal=Yadav) + Konda (Fort)= The Fort of Yadav's the cowherds or Cowherd's fort.
