In 2009, the Golpayegan University of Engineering (Persian: دانشکده فنی و مهندسی گلپايگان ), was established with financial and management support from Sharif University of Saipa, in Golpayegan, Iran.[1] The University places emphasis on introducing students to actual working experiences through projects with local industrial companies. There are several new majors are being developed including chemistry, biology with a focus on agriculture, metallurgy, and stranded major field Mechanical Mechatronic (combined disciplines of mechanical and electro-Nick). It is expected these new major will attract more than 1500 students.[2]
