Good-bye Lizelle is an album by American singer/songwriter Mark Olson, released in 2014.
The songs were recorded with local musicians using portable recording equipment while Olson and his wife Ingunn Ringvold traveled in Europe, South Africa and numerous other countries.[1] Olson had recently reunited with his former band The Jayhawks and recorded Mockingbird Time. He left the group again after the tour.[2]

Writing for Allmusic, music critic Mark Deming wrote of the album; "What Olson hasn't done before is explore world music, and Good-bye Lizelle, his third solo effort, suggests there's a good reason for that: he doesn't seem to have much of a knack for it... most of Good-bye Lizelle plays like Olson is working his way into a new and more diverse musical approach that hasn't quite meshed with his core strengths yet, and following his first two solo works and his one-off reunion with the Jayhawks, Mockingbird Time, this project is a severe disappointment."[1] Charles Pitter of PopMatters wrote that Olson and Ringvold's voices blend well together and the album "has a warm sonic atmosphere and an international flavour."[3] Terry Staunton of Record Collector praised the album and wrote; "The accumulative result is an album of great warmth and intimacy that reveals ever more treasures with each listen."[4]
