Gordon Cumming was a Scottish footballer who played for Reading between 1969 and 1977. His primary position was as a winger. He scored 61 goals in 331 games.^[1] He took penalties^[2] until the arrival of Robin Friday and Alan Taylor in the side.^[3] He was Reading's player of the year in 1971–72.^[4] He played in the team that won Reading's first promotion for 50 years in 1976.^[5]
