Fictional character biography

George "The Boss" Dyke is an Irish-American gangster who was executed in a gas chamber at Gotham City Prison on a rainy evening. However, Dyke's brain is removed from his body; via a lobotomy by his henchman under his orders. His brain ends up transplanted into the body of a towering gorilla by a disgraced surgeon named Doc Willard. The Gorilla Boss establishes a crime spree in Gotham and fights Batman twice.

Sinestro later steals Gorilla Boss' cerebellum, expands it to planet-size, and used it as a power source. This unnatural abomination is destroyed by Superman.[1]

Gorilla Boss's brain is later returned to his gorilla body. He then gets used as a pawn by Gorilla Grodd.[2]

Powers and abilities

Gorilla Boss has super-strength and endurance. Though Gorilla Boss can't speak, he can communicate with his henchmen using a pen and paper.
