Gorka Pérez Garay, better known as Gorka Pérez, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Bilbao Athletic as a defender.
"Very intense, powerful and fast. It has a good beating and displacement of large air ball game. He is a player with good technique and can do great sacrifice for the team."[1]
Career
Gorka Perez started his career by first joining Athletic Foundation of Encartaciones, a local club. Then he got signed up for Sodupe U.C., where with his brilliant effort won his team Campeón de Liga alevín (2006) and Campeón de Liga infantil (2007). Then he got signed up for Zalla U.C.. In this club, he won his team Ascenso a infantil preferente (2008).Then, he got signed up for club Barakaldo CF Juvenil A where in 2013-2014 he won MVP Youth League and promotion to Division Honor in Barakaldo.[2] On July 1, 2014, he got transferred to CD Basconia, as thoughts about his potential and skills got spread across different clubs. After playing for 1 year for the club, he joined Bilbao Athletic on July 1, 2015. Later, in the month of August, he got transferred to SD Gernika on loan.[3]
