Goromonzi High School
Goromonzi High School is a co-educational boarding school in Mashonaland East Province of Zimbabwe. Choice of students attending form 1 is based on the Units obtained in Grade 7 and this is complemented with an entrance exam.Currently Mr A Mujeni is the headmaster.[1]

Goromonzi has an array of sports including with above average facilities for Rugby, Soccer, Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Cricket, Athletics, swimming and other interest activities.

Chess
In chess Goromonzi High lifted the Harare Schools Chess league in 2014 under the leadership of the school's legend ,the first ever to play for the school in Europe, Anesu Gwezere with the help of Kudzaishe Manyanya with a fide rating of 1800 the best rating in the country for his age group.Chess is certainly their strongest point though basketball is the school's main sport which has produced many great players in the national team like Marshall Gwezere,Tinotenda Nyanhete to mention just a few.
Recruitment
Form ones should have at most 6 units depending on the year whilst lower six's should have at least 5 As with an A in each of the subject the student wishes to pursue which may also vary according to year .
Teaching Staff
The school is known for producing great results in Accounting at A level with an average of 18As and an average of 70 students with 5As+ at Olevel
