Gother Victor Fyers Mann

Gother Victor Fyers Mann CBE (8 October 1863, Sydney – 12 November 1948, St Leonards), also known as G. V. F. Mann, was an Australian architect and painter.

Mann was secretary and superintendent of the Art Gallery of New South Wales and from 191229 its director.

He married Mabel Beatrice Newman, the daughter of John Hubert Newman, a well known photographer of the time, on 3 April 1902 at St. Philip's Church, Sydney. They had one daughter, Marjorie Victoria Mann.

He was awarded the insignia of Commander of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in 1930.
