Government Engineering College, Ramanagaram

Government Engineering College, Ramanagaram is an engineering college in Karnataka, India. Affiliated to VTU, Belgaum. and AICTE. It was founded in 2007, with the interest of government of Karnataka. The chief minister at that time, H. D. Kumaraswamy, personally took an interest in it.

Institute has well trained lecturers appointed by government. Name of Principal: Dr.G . Pundarika.

It has well transport facility with KSRTC bus called "KENGAL SARIGE" Very often travels between Ramanagaram and Maddur,_Mandyaas government opinion.there is no stop for ksrtc buses.there is no full lab facilities for students. No sports encouragement. No campus. This college was originally located in a temporary building near Mayaganahalli, Ramanagaram. In 2009 it moved to its original building, Mannu Gudde, Near Janapada_Loka, Ramanagaram.

But students from government engineering college ramanagar will take other college to take a look forward because in this college no longer support available. So for cricket some guys are playing for jssca. Manasa club etc madhu uday. Kishore jayraj and some Student only attend those vtu sports
