Graduate School of Philosophy and Religion

The Graduate School of Philosophy and Religion (GSPR), founded 1993, is a faculty of Assumption University of Thailand, located on the Huamak campus Bang Kapi District Bangkok in close vicinity to Ramkhamhaeng University and the Rajamangala National Stadium. The school offers four programs: A Ph.D. program in philosophy, a Ph.D. program in religious studies, an MA program in philosophy and an MA program in religious studies. All four programs are recognized by the Office of Higher Education Commission (OHEC) and accredited by the Office of National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA). Student body and faculty are international and the academic lingua franca is English. Teaching and research at the school is bridging Philosophy, Religious Studies, Spirituality, Cultural Studies, Analytic and Continental as well as Eastern and Western approaches. The GSPR also hosts the Guna Chakra Research Center.
