Grahanam (English: Eclipse) is an upcoming Tamil thriller film directed by ELAN and produced by PVP CINIMAS, Pearl V. Potluri and Param V. Potluri, son's of Prasad V Potluri in association with Big Print Pictures Production. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Kreshna, Nandhini, Chandran, Karunas, Karunakaran, Pandi. K.S Sundaramurthy composed the soundtrack album and background score for the film.
The movie cast debutante actress Nandhini, a former Miss Andhra Pradesh, opposite Krishna. The movie has Karunas, Karunakaran and Kayal Fame Chandran and Pandi in pivotal roles.
'Grahanam', which means eclipse, is the movie's fulcrum. According to the film, eclipses play a significant role in determining planetary positions. An individual's fortune are directed by this factor.
"I am extremely glad to make my debut in a film produced and supported by PVP cinema", says debutante director Elan.
Principal photography will commence by the second week of April.

Development
This dark thriller was financed by PVP Cinemas in association with BIG PRINT PICTURES. Graghanam was the 13th movie from PVP CINIMAS. It was directed by newcomer Elan (aged 22). He claimed that although it is billed as a thriller it has nothing to do with action or crime. He that Graghanam was an apt title, given that the story evolves during an eclipse.
Release
Informal filming schedule started with a Pooja ceremony at AVM studios on 3 April 2015. It was reported that the film will be released by 15 April in Chennai.
