Graham-Montgomery baronets
The Barony of Stanhope and the Manor of Stobo were bought by James Montgomery in 1767 for £40,500 from the Murray family. James Montgomery was later created 1st Baronet Stanhope in 1801.
The Graham-Montgomery Baronets consist of Sir Graham Graham-Montgomery, 3rd Baronet Stanhope and his three sons, the 4th, 5th and 6th Baronets Stanhope. He was the son of Sir James Montgomery, 2nd Baronet Stanhope and Helen Graham, daughter of Thomas Graham (? – July, 28 1819), MP of Kinross-shire from 1811–1819. It ends with the death of
- Sir Graham Graham-Montgomery, 3rd Baronet Stanhope.
- Sir James Graham-Montgomery, 4th Baronet Stanhope.
- Sir Basil Templer Graham-Montgomery, 5th Baronet Stanhope.
- The Reverend Sir Charles Percy Graham-Montgomery, 6th Baronet Stanhope.
