Grandmother's House is a 1989 American horror film produced by Nico Mastorakis in 1989.
Plot
A boy called David and his sister move to their grandparents' house set in a remote orchard in the American mid-west after the death of their parents.
As soon as they arrive David begins seeing a strange lady wearing period country clothes, who mysterious appears and disappears at random. Later the woman reveals herself and the siblings discover she has escaped from a local mental hospital.
The women chases them all over the house and grounds whilst brandishing the obligatory kitchen knife (stalwart of slasher films from the 70's and 80's). Eventually, the women is caught and imprisoned by the grandfather of the children and a horrifying plot twist is revealed.
