Greater Lubombo Transfrontier Conservation Area
Greater Lubombo Transfrontier Conservation Area will be the next step in the Peace Parks for the future. It will include all the areas already mentioned under the Lubombo Transfrontier Conservation Area, as well as the following:
The 5 separate TFCA
The total concept of the peace park actually covers 5 distinct transfrontier conservations areas between South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland, which are:
- Lubombo Conservancy-Goba Transfrontier Conservation Area (Mozambique and Swaziland). See also Lubombo Conservancy (Swaziland)
- Usuthu-Tembe-Futi Transfrontier Conservation Area (Swaziland, South Africa and Mozambique).
- Ponta do Ouro-Kosi Bay Transfrontier Conservation Area (Mozambique and South Africa). See also iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
- Nsubane Pongola Transfrontier Conservation Area (South Africa and Swaziland).
- Songimvelo-Malolotja Transfrontier Conservation Area (South Africa and Swaziland).
The idea being that at a date in the future all these TFCA will be joined to form this enormous Peace park.
