Greater Manchester bus route 147 operates in Greater Manchester between Manchester Piccadilly railway station and Manchester Royal Infirmary on weekdays. It is operated by Bullocks Coaches.
History
Route 147 is also known as the Oxford Road Link and connect various places on the Oxford Road to Manchester Piccadilly railway station. Launched in 2005, the route is subsidised by the various Universities, Royal Northern College of Music and Central Manchester Hospitals.[1] The route was upgraded with Volvo B5LH hybrid buses with subsidies from the Manchester City Council.[2]
