History
The service was originally run by GM Buses in the 1980s and later by Rossendale Transport in the 1990s. First Greater Manchester took over the daytime services in the late 1990s while Rossendale Transport continued to run evening and Sunday services into the 2000s. Manchester Community Transport currently run Sunday services.
