The green-tailed jacamar (Galbula galbula) is a species of bird in the Galbulidae family.
It is native to Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are moist lowland forests, both tropical and subtropical, and heavily degraded former forest.
