Green Information Technology

Green Information Technology (Green IT) refer to a systematic application of ecological-sustainability criteria (such as pollution prevention, product stewardship, use of clean technologies) to the creation, sourcing, use and disposal of the IT technical infrastructure as well as within the IT human and managerial practices that directly or indirectly address environmental sustainability in organizations.[1]
