The Union of Greens of Russia (Russian: Союз зелёных России) or Green Russia (Russian: Зелёная Россия) is an ecological faction of Russian Yabloko party. In 2005, the organization was founded as an independent party, but in 2006 it joined to Yabloko. The Union of Greens of Russia is headed by professor Alexey Yablokov, the founder of Greenpeace USSR in the 1980s. The organisation is an associate member of the European Green Party.[1]
