Greenwich Pizza is a pizza and pasta chain in the Philippines. It started as an over-the-counter pizza store in the Greenhills Shopping Center in Metro Manila in 1971.
In 1994, Jollibee Foods Corporation obtained a deal acquiring 80% of Greenwich shareholding.[1] Then, in 2006, Jollibee bought out for PHP384 million the remaining shares of its partners in Greenwich, and the resulting new company was called Greenwich Pizza Corporation. The franchise experienced rapid expansion thereafter—from its mere 50 stores in 1994, Greenwich already had over 240 stores with an annual revenue of over PHP4 billion in 2005, but as of 2011, it already had over 330 stores.[2]
