Gregory P. Schmidt is the Secretary of the Senate for the California State Legislature. He is also the Chief Executive Officer for the California Senate Rules Committee. He has also served as a consultant to Assembly Committees on Human resources; Labor, employment and consumer affairs. He received his bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University in 1969 and his master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1973.[1][2][3]
