The Guatemalan flicker (Colaptes mexicanoides) is a woodpecker in the Picidae family. Formerly lumped in with Colaptes Auratus this species is found in Central America from Southern Mexico through Guatemala, northern El Salvador and Honduras into northern Nicaragua.[1]
