Guilford High School(formally Guilford Senior High School) is a four-year public high school in Guilford, Connecticut. College Board Scholastic Assessment Test and Connecticut Academic Performance Tests results for GHS students are consistently above state, regional and national averages. Guilford High School students have won many regional and national awards in the academic and creative arts fields.
Guilford offers a range of co-curricular activities, including National Honor Society, Student Senate, yearbook committee, service organizations, and language and literary clubs. The sports teams, who receive wide community support, include soccer, football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, ice hockey, field hockey, alpine skiing, fencing, wrestling, softball, tennis, volleyball, cross country, winter and spring track, crew, and golf. Acclaimed music, art, and drama programs round out the varied experiences available to Guilford High School students. In April 2012, The Guilford Board of Education announced that construction for the new Guilford High School would begin in mid 2013. Groundbreaking took place on June 6, 2013. Construction ran from June 2013 through August 2015. Students began attending the new high school on September 8, 2015, the first day of the 2015-2016 school year in Guilford. It is a state of the art high school with more updated and improved features compared to the old high school. The original high school was built in 1958 and was demolished in December of 2015.

Guilford High School competes in the Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) of the CIAC in Connecticut.
