Guillermo Edghill Jr (p.k.a. Big Joon, stylized as BiG JooN!) is an American record producer, mix engineer, programmer, recording engineer, remixer, composer, arranger and musician from New York City. He has worked with recording artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, Ginuwine, and Tevin Campbell, and on hit records including Jenny From The Block, Candy Rain, Always Be My Baby, and SWV's You're The One.[1][2][3][4][5]
JooN has collaborated with and/or consulted for Grammy Award-nominated or winning producers Troy Oliver, Cory Rooney, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Rockwilder, Bryce Wilson & Allen "AllStar" Gordon.[2][5][6]
His work has been featured on multi-platinum albums and singles and has led to over 10 artists acquiring major label recording and publishing deals.[2][7] Projects he has worked on have sold over 20 million RIAA Certified units and have over 100 million views on the internet.[7]
He is currently a producer-engineer at MixYourHit.com, Karmic Power Records, and Rakateer Music in New York City[8] and has been instrumental in the current reemergences of recording artists Meli'sa Morgan, James D-Train Williams, and Lenny Fontana, while working with up-and-coming artists Silver Spoon Brun (producer/songwriter Gregory Bruno), Breez, and Bolly.[9]
