Guru Dakshina is a 1983 Malayalam movie. The film was directed by Baby. It features Adoor Bhasi, Sathish Menon, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Ratheesh and Pappu. The screenplay was written by Baby and the songs of the movie were by Joy.[1][2][3]
Plot
The story revolves around Kunjunni Mash (Adoor Bhasi), who is a school teacher. His daughter(Sunanada) falls in love with the Panchayat President's (T. G. Ravi) son(Sathish Menon). However, he demands dowry to Kunjunni Mash in the form of money to let the marriage happen. The rest of the movie shows how Kunjunni Mash goes to see each of his old students (Mammooty, mohanlal, ratheesh,Unnimary ) to seek help for his daughter's marriage.
