Gus Johnson (born August 10, 1993) is an American football player currently on the practice squad with the Atlanta Falcons. Johnson led the Cowboys in rushing with 37 carries for a 139 yards and two touchdowns during the 2015 NFL preseason. He played college football at Stephen F. Austin State University.[1][2][3]

Professional career

Dallas Cowboys

On July 28, 2015, Johnson was signed by the Dallas Cowboys. On September 5, 2015, he was waived by the Cowboys.[4] On September 8, 2015, he was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad after clearing waivers.[5] On September 17, 2015, he was released by the Cowboys.[6] On September 22, 2015, Johnson was re-signed to the Cowboys' practice squad.[7]

Atlanta Falcons

On October 27, 2015, the Atlanta Falcons added Johnson to their practice squad. [8]
