György Gedó (born April 23, 1949) is a former Hungarian boxer.

Gedó was born in Újpest, Budapest, Hungary. He won the gold medal in the light flyweight division (– 48 kg) at the 1972 Summer Olympics. In the final he defeated Kim U-Gil of North Korea on points (5:0).

He competed in four consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 1968.

Gedó won two gold medals in European Amateur Boxing Championships in 1969 (Bucharest) and in 1971 (Madrid) and a bronze medal in 1975 (Katowice), all in the light flyweight division.
