Hæen

Hæen is a village in municipality, Rogaland county. The village has a population of 299,[1] as of 2008. Hæen lies between Vigrestad and Brusand.

Hå municipality has expressed a desire to get as much of the population growth in the municipality to happen in the Hæen area, of two reasons. 1. There is a desire to balance the population in the municipality and not only have high population in the northern villages Nærbø and Varhaug. 2. Hæen area is suited for building houses, since it doesn't consume some of the best agriculture earth, like most expansions around the other villages does, with the exception of Sirevåg.

Hæen is known locally as Stokkelandsmarka, and Hæen is quite an unfamiliar term.
