HD 148427 b is a gas giant extrasolar planet which orbits the K-type subgiant star HD 148427, located approximately 193 light years away in the constellation Ophiuchus. This planet has a minimum mass slightly less than Jupiter and orbits slightly closer to the star than Earth to the Sun. The orbital revolution takes 331.5 days or 0.9076 years.[2] This planet was discovered on August 12, 2009 by radial velocity method.
