Hajibaba Huseynov (19 March 1919 – 24 October 1993) was a famous Azeri mugham singer[1] and teacher.[2] He received the title of National Artist of Azerbaijan in 1991.[3] He was credited as a key figure in the popularization of mugham, and developing talented mugham khanandas such as Alim Qasimov, Aghakhan Abdullayev and Gadir Rustamov.[4]
