Halloughton is a village in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located 9 miles west of Newark on Trent and is within the civil parish of Southwell (where the population is included). The parish church of St James was rebuilt in 1879-82. Halloughton Manor House is a 13th-century prebendal house of the college of Southwell. Its medieval tower house is now incorporated into a late-18th-century farmhouse.[1]
