The Hamburg School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade from Hamburg, in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States.

As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's one school had an enrollment of 272 students and 26.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.15:1.[1]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[3]

For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students attend Wallkill Valley Regional High School which also serves students from Franklin, Hardyston Township and Ogdensburg Borough as part of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School District.[4]
