Hana Cakuli (born 26 May 1989 in Ulcinj, SFR Yugoslavia) is an Albanian singer from Montenegro.

Biography

Cakuli finished elementary and high school in her hometown. By the age of 18, she moved to Pristina to finish university. She started her music career in a young age, by participating in various music festivals in her hometown, and Albania. Her professional career started after appearing on several talk shows and music shows around Albania. In late 2007 she participated in Kënga Magjike, a well-known music contest in Albania, with "U shërova" (I'm healed). After earning an indescribable fame, Cakuli was one of the most listened singers around the Albanian lands. In 2008, she appeared once again in Kënga Magjike with "Simbol", a ballad written by herself, as most of her songs. She received multiple awards during the final. After that, Cakuli was a regular participant in various festivals organized in Albania and Kosovo.[1] Her latest single "Unë vendos" (I Rule) has led the Albanian charts and has become a very frequent song of the listeners.

Besides the music, Cakuli has her own show on KTV, a cooking TV show that includes artists from the region. She is finishing her university: Management and Public Politics at the American University of Kosovo.[2]
